Tigran was born in Armenia in 1986. He attended the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography, specializing in the Faculty of Cinematography with a focus on camera work. Between 2009 and 2015, Tigran pursued further education at the All-Russian State University of Cinematography, specializing in the Faculty of Cinematography under the guidance of Professor Klebanov I.S
